Junior Producer

Role Overview

Ideal Insight requires a Junior Producer to join our fast-growing video production and photography agency. We work with a variety of brands, from small businesses to large global enterprises such as Amazon, Samsung, Vodafone, and Citroen.

Working between the Account Managers and the Production Team, the successful candidate will handle all operational requirements for video and photography projects, and maintain the highest level of professionalism while communicating with clients.

As a bonus, the ideal candidate will have a basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing to support the Production Team when required.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Communicate directly with clients on all elements of their project from pre-production through to final content delivery.
2. Ensure projects are running on time and confidently flag issues with peers.
3. Schedule production team member time into the production diary.
4. Create call-sheets and shoot schedules.
5. Organise, schedule, and brief freelance support as needed.
6. Assist the production team with editing requests when no one else is available.
7. Work directly with the Animation team to support animation briefs.
8. QC all videos from the production team before sending to the client (i.e., ensure all requested changes have been completed to a high standard).
9. Understand filming risks and controls, and create RAMS documents for shoots.
10. Notify account managers of any upsell opportunities in-project.
11. Talent casting, shortlisting, and management.
12. Location scouting, shortlisting, and management.
13. Continuously look for operational improvements and raise these with the line manager.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum of 2 years experience in a client-facing project management role, ideally within the creative industry.
2. Strong communication skills (client and internal stakeholders).
3. Ability to work under time pressure.
4. Expert schedule manager, managing timelines effectively.
5. Confident with video editing on Premiere Pro.
6. Positive attitude and a logical mindset/approach to projects.
7. Hybrid work - come to the London office 2-3 times per week.
