The Investment20/20 Programme
We are proud to be a part of the Investment20/20 initiative, and we are delighted to be recruiting for a number of 12 month placements across the business. You'll have the chance to play an active role and contribute to the success of the function, and with this you'll gain industry knowledge and experience whilst developing relationships.
These roles are traineeship opportunities, so we are specifically looking for school leavers, college leavers, graduates and non-graduates. We offer entry level work experiences that will inspire and challenge you!
What are we looking for?
- Assisting the local SSM's to run RFI's and RFP's, working with our third-party sourcing and analytic partner to identify potential new vendors, establish market reviews and carry out selective pricing benchmarking.
- Supporting the preparation and analysis of expenditure data under the direction of the Director of Procurement Operations. Becoming proficient in the spend analytics dashboard. Using both instinct and facts to provide insight and observations to drive new opportunities for the SSM's.
- Actively review previously unaddressable expenditure, assessing the current vendors, the marketplace and the competitiveness of current terms to establish and then deliver savings.
What do we need from you?
- An inquisitive nature and an interest to understand and explore the world of Procurement.
- Proficient use of PC software including Word, Excel, Outlook and other packages as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced work environment.
- To be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A multi-tasker with a positive outlook on work and life.
- Keen attention to detail.

- We are unable to accept industry placement year students onto this programme.
- We require all applicants to have the right to work in the UK until at least January 2027.
