Salary: £40000 - £50000 per annum + Hybrid working

I am delighted to be recruiting for this new role for a Ladies Leisure and Sport Jersey Designer to join an established ladies fashion supplier, this company offers hybrid working and working within a great a friendly and supportive team
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering best-in class commercial ranges bearing in mind the latest trends that will be aligned to customers briefs The ideal candidate must be confident presenting to buyers of
major retailers and supermarkets and supporting on trend research and competitive shop reports

Main Responsibilities will include:

• Trend research and development of seasonal/continuity/fabrics/colours and the creation of mood boards and presentations.
• Responsible for designing Ladies Leisure and Sport Jersey best-selling ranges from proto through to production.
• Attend and lead design meetings, presenting the collection alongside the Account Manager.
• Work collaboratively with Garment Technologists regarding size specifications and technical construction.
• Design according to the customers brand DNA. considering core lines alongside newness.
• Source and develop fabric and trims.

Person Specifications:

• Previous experience designing ladieswear jersey with a strong emphasis on Leisure and Sport
• Supplier experience is key for this role .
• Excellent knowledge of jersey fabrics, capabilities, and trends.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels.
• Proficient on Adobe Software, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Good team player, highly motivated and inspiring.
