About the role:

Lead the Business Analysis competency across DHL eCommerce UK to ensure all members of the Business Analysis competency are performing at the requisite levels and have the necessary development opportunities across both learning on the job and structured training in order to develop their careers and skills in line with business outcomes. Lead teams to develop and administer IT business systems analysts plans and processes to provide information systems aligned with users' needs, business requirements and specifications, and consistent with organization's information systems in line with business strategy and objectives, and Group guidelines and policies. Where required, take leadership roles on critical pieces of work to ensure the necessary standards of outcomes are delivered.

  • Lead the Business Analysis competency across DHL eCommerce UK to ensure all members of the Business Analysis competency are performing at the requisite levels.
  • Ensure the ongoing development of resources within the Business Analysis competency to the required standards in order to support career development.
  • Support administration of IT business systems analysts plans and processes to provide information systems in line with business requirements and specifications.
  • Where required on high-profile and/or complex programmes, interpret specifications and contribute to designing functional designs.
  • Conduct analysis of alternate designs to identify risks and benefits.
  • Reconcile information for analysis of costs/benefits of potential actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI.
  • Assist to assess project impact of system changes on users and internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Define software testing and debugging plans to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Develop test plans and scripts based on functional requirements and execute test scripts using testing tools.
  • Write user documentation based on functional requirements.
  • Identify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications for business systems analysts work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions.
  • Work with senior stakeholders to identify development plans for Business Analysts and put in place a viable career development framework for all members of the competency.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • More than 4+ years experience in a similar leadership role.
