A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the surgical oncology directorate as lead patient safety and quality manager for a twelve-month secondment. • Evidence of recent continuing professional development
• Experience in patient safety, quality or governance.
• A proven track record of successfully implementing change.
• Highly developed knowledge and understanding of the changing NHS environment, strategy, and policy agendas.

• Thorough understanding of the principles and practice of clinical governance
• Ability to analyse complex problems and develop and implement solutions to address them
• Ability to collaborate constructively with internal and external partners
