An award-winning, international law firm is looking for a Lead Software Engineer skilled in .NET Core and Azure to join them and play a crucial role in developing innovative products and cloud solutions to tackle a wide variety of problems to evolve their platform.

You will be joining and leading a diverse, cross-functional team who all share a passion and obsession for all things tech.

Day to Day Work:

• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and other colleagues to seek exciting and results-oriented problems for delivering value.
• Write clear, maintainable code.
• Contribute to production operation and monitoring of systems and be aware of SLAs.
• Support and mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming to accelerate their technical mastery.
• Challenge team processes, looking for ways to improve them. Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Ideally you will have:

• Senior level experience in modern .NET applications written in C# 7+ - .NET Core / 5+.
• .NET Core Development Experience: Develop and maintain robust APIs and back-end services using C# and .NET Core, adhering to best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
• Experience with modelling and managing data within Azure SQL Server, utilising data connectors to integrate with external systems and .NET Core applications.
• Ability to create and manage serverless Azure Functions to implement custom business logic, data processing, and API endpoints.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and fostering their professional growth.
