So, what's the role all about?
You will be a joining a strong R&D team and will be expected to have knowledge in all stages of the software development lifecycle. You'll be working alongside other architects, engineers, and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our NICE product.
How will you make an impact?
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, Angular, and Hibernate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Implement RESTful APIs.
- Optimize applications for speed and efficiency.
- Work with modern development tools such as Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of new systems, and help refactor legacy code to modern solutions.
- Ensure the application is secure, maintainable, and scalable.
Have you got what it takes?
- Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Hibernate.
- Expertise in Java 17 and modern Java features.
- Deep understanding of web development with Angular and TypeScript.
- Solid experience with RESTful API design and integration.
- Proficiency in using Maven for dependency management and build automation.
- Strong knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Strong understanding of database (Oracle), ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate), and SQL.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit etc.).
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or others.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
