Job Description

The key responsibilities of this Lease Accountant role will be:

  • Manage all aspects of lease accountancy, including payments and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
  • Participate in financial audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide financial advice and support to management.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Lease Accountant should have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified - newly qualified/1 yr PQE
  • Working knowledge of IFRS 16
  • Ability to manage and analyse data
  • Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot tables
  • Experience of preparing reconciliations Practical approach to problem solving Desirable
  • Exposure to an International market
  • Experience with Lease Management System - LS or equivalent IFRS 16 platform
  • Knowledge of accounting systems - Nav BC; OneStream
  • Experience of working with multiple currencies
