We have an exciting opportunity as a Legal Counsel to join our team as we grow our UK business.


Area/Department description

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our global team in the Corporate Department, supporting our businesses.


Your mission
  • Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters related to the renewable energy sector.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including supplier agreements, partnerships, and financing arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and EU energy regulations, data protection laws, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Support transactions, acquisitions, and new business ventures by assessing legal risks and structuring deals.
  • Liaise with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies when necessary.
  • Assist in dispute resolution and claims management.
  • Develop internal policies and procedures to align with legal best practices.

Your profile
  • Qualified solicitor in the UK with experience in corporate/commercial law and Real estate.
  • 5+ years of experience in an in-house legal role or a top-tier law firm, preferably with exposure to the energy or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, particularly in renewable energy and environmental law.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
