Legal Director/Partner - Private Client

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of legal professionals within the Private Client department, providing expert advice on complex legal matters.
• Advise clients on a wide range of matters, including but not limited to, trusts, estates, inheritance planning, tax, and wealth structuring.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both private clients and key external stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality legal services.
• Take on responsibility for high-value, complex legal matters, providing strategic solutions and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
• Assist in business development activities, marketing initiatives, and networking to drive the growth of the firm's Private Client practice.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the team, including mentoring junior colleagues and fostering a collaborative, supportive working environment.
• Act as a trusted advisor, with the ability to manage a wide array of legal issues in a discreet and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

• Significant experience in Private Client law, ideally with a focus on complex tax, estate planning, and wealth structuring.
• Experience in managing high-net-worth individuals and advising on cross-jurisdictional matters.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of legal professionals, with strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strong business development acumen, with a track record of cultivating relationships and expanding client bases.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Strong technical legal expertise, with the ability to simplify complex legal issues for clients.
