Legal Manager - Estate Planning
From £32,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Full time, 37.5 hours. Monday-Friday
Bristol, Almondsbury - hybrid working with 3 days a week in the office

Due to continued growth of the department, we're looking for a legal manager to join our estate planning team at Co-op Legal Services.

In this role, you'll manage a team of legal case managers, using MI to monitor performance and manage delivery to make sure internal targets are being met and that we're providing the best service for our clients. We'll look to you to role model an inclusive leadership style, supporting individual colleagues' development, and having challenging conversations where required. What you'll do

  1. line manage a team of 8-10 legal case managers, conducting regular 121's, case progression meetings, and performance conversations, and supporting individual development
  2. interpret and prepare MI to support effective decision making and identify improvements to the service
  3. review capacity management and allocate cases to ensure effective day to day delivery
  4. handle and resolve client complaints
  5. maintain accurate HR records
  6. work collaboratively with a wide range of colleagues across the business, including the senior team leaders

This role would suit people who have

  1. previous experience of leading a team within the legal industry
  2. the ability to drive team targets in a fast-paced environment
  3. excellent communication skills with the confidence to manage difficult conversations
  4. strong relationship building skills at all levels
