Litigation lawyer

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Litigation Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. Please find below further details with regards to the position.

ROLE: Litigation Lawyer
RATE: £45.00 to £50.00 per hour LTD (DOE and interview performance)
LOCATION: East London, hybrid working
CONTRACT: 36 hours per week, 3 months ongoing

The Role

• To manage a mixed caseload of Litigation matters through to completion.
• Matters will include housing and adult social care debt matters.
• Other matters will include property litigation, commercial and contract disputes, injunctions, and judicial review.

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Barrister with a minimum of 2 years' PQE.
• Experience in progressing full caseloads of relevant litigation matters through to completion will be essential.
• Experience of working with a local authority is also highly desirable.
