Job Title: Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer

Job Description: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North as a Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer. This role is on a full-time basis, but part-time candidates will be considered. The initial duration of the contract will be 3 months, with the likelihood of extension.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage a caseload of Civil Litigation cases at all stages of Pre-Litigation/Litigation
2. Ensure compliance with the Civil Litigation Protocol
3. Represent the Council in Court and conduct advocacy where appropriate in mainly remote hearings with some court attendance required

Hourly Rate: £55ph Umbrella

Recent Civil Litigation experience is essential, as they need candidates that can hit the ground running. Candidates with recent Local Government experience is desired but not essential.
