Locum Consultant Paediatric Radiologist - London

National Locums are working on behalf of an NHS trust based in London looking for a locum Consultant in Radiology with specialist interest in Paediatrics.

The Radiology department based within a trust in London are looking for a Locum Consultant Paediatric Radiologist to start as soon as possible for 8 months. This is covering a maternity leave gap so could be extended, but may finish after 8 months.

Core working hours will be Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00. The trust are looking for someone able to meet the following:

• Fluent with all general aspects of paediatric x-ray reporting and ultrasound. Preferably including hip and cranial ultrasound, but not necessary.
• Vet and report on CT and MRI paediatric population, including brain.
• Vetting and reporting of non-accidental injuries of babies (NAI).
• Perform/report fluoroscopy techniques for paediatric age as an added bonus.

This is a 10 PA job plan including covering the paediatric MDM on Wednesday mornings. There is also scope to share in first and second on-call rota. Full job details available on request.

You must hold the following in order to be considered:

• GMC license to practise.
• NHS experience in Paediatric Radiology.
• Specialist registration in Clinical Radiology is desired.
