Management Accountant- Horsecare

Job Description:

Location: Milton Keynes + 50% Hybrid Working

Salary: £38,000-£46,500 + Bonus + Benefits

We're looking for a part-qualified Management Accountant who's keen to grow and develop supporting the Horsecare business. You'll need a strong eye for detail and experience in a similar role. We value someone who works well within a team, communicates effectively, and isn't afraid to redefine standards. • Working towards an Accountant qualification.
• Experience of working in a business.

• Assist in the preparation of period-end management accounts, providing insights on budget variances.
• Ensure timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts.
• Partner with department heads on decision-making, cost control, and support in YEE meetings and board pack commentary.
• Support internal/external audits, Mars G&C processes, and Mars financial submissions (Helios, HFM).
• In the first 12 months you will have a good understanding of how the business operates, to be working independently and to have built networks with stakeholders.
