Job Description

Marketing & Communications Manager sought by the Building Solutions division of an international polymer manufacturer, in their Ross-on-Wye office. This global company has nearly 200 locations worldwide and supplies to a range of industries including construction, industrial, and automotive industries.

The Role:

As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will be working in a wider marketing division of 12-13 people. You will be responsible for executing all the marketing activities as assigned based on key initiatives, goals, and strategies of the company, ensuring that all activities are in alignment with the corporate guidelines and provide the support needed to deliver successful implementation of the marketing plans for the Building Solutions division.

Your day-to-day duties will include:
  1. Understanding the marketing communications requirements for the Building Solutions division
  2. Managing three product ranges (pipes) within the division: District Heating, Underfloor Heating, Plumbing
  3. Campaign planning and activation with clear KPI and monitoring
  4. Manage the media strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders (i.e. Head of Sales & Marketing, Building Solutions and Global Head of Marketing, Building Solutions)
  5. Coordination of marketing material production aligned to global campaigns
  6. Manage the email, content management, website & social media strategy
  7. Propose, plan and deliver external events and trade shows
  8. Agency planning and working with agencies to produce literature, videos, etc.
  9. Provide trade-marketing support for customers of the division
  10. Support the Public Relations strategy
  11. Oversee market research insights and translate them into marketing strategies
  12. Engage with sales teams within the division
  13. Manage marketing spend to ensure all activities are within agreed budgets
  14. Occasional travel (c2 days per month) for sales/strategy meetings, exhibitions, conferences, etc.
The successful Marketing & Communications Manager should have:
  1. Degree in relevant marketing-related discipline is strongly preferred
  2. A strong level of experience within a similar marketing role
  3. B2B marketing experience is essential
  4. Experience working within the B2B Industrial sector is preferred
  5. Experience in video production and agency management
  6. Great command of digital marketing
  7. Keen interest in sustainability would be beneficial
  8. The ability to take both a strategic overview and a hands-on approach
  9. Strong influencing skills with the ability to deal credibly with senior stakeholders

  1. £30,000 - £44,976 salary depending on experience

Location: Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire (50% hybrid after probation)

Salary: £30,000 - £44,796 depending on experience + excellent benefits
