"The Marketing Director ensures that the current and future needs of customers, patients and stakeholders are fully understood. You develop strategies to meet these needs and implement launches, campaigns and actions to meet profit and growth targets. The Marketing Director develops and implements a futureproof marketing organisation, in addition identifying integration potential between the business segments of medical products and solutions and patient care services, and creates synergies where possible"

As Marketing Director for the Netherlands and Belgium you develop and implement business- and marketing strategies of the product (medical devices, pharmaceutical products and customized solutions) and the patient care businesses of B. Braun, in order to achieve profitable and sustainable growth.

As a driver of change and innovation you demonstrate visionary, strategic and authentic leadership by supporting and inspiring the business and developing the current marketing team. You ensure that the current and future needs of market segments, customers and patient groups - as well as other stakeholders such as government bodies and insurance companies - are well understood and aligned with the strategy of B. Braun. You and your team provide deep and relevant insights to internal stakeholders. Next to this you will lead integrated, comprehensive business- and communication strategies for internal and external stakeholders (e.g,. government affairs, pricing and market access) and drive the team to develop and launch campaigns and activities to these key stakeholders. In this role you will be continuous sparring with the Managing Director (BeNe), CFO, Commercial Directors, the General Manager Care and other departments; in particular HR, Technical Service and IT, as well as global marketing and sales colleagues.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and controlling marketing and business activities through KPI's, using ROI within financial reporting to co-steer the organization effectively and actively in terms of resources & budget;
  • Build, strengthen and enlarge long-term relation- and partnerships with key customers, key opinion leaders, medical (inter)national societies and associations and/or other stakeholders;
  • To manage product and therapy launches, launch of new healthcare services, product life cycles and annual marketing / business plans;
  • End responsibility for internal and external communications;
  • To define the necessary marketing tools, templates and processes;
  • Act diligently and according to compliance guidelines;
  • Performance and competency management (including succession planning) and empowering team members on their personal development, talents, securing needs and initiatives.
Functie-eisen
  • Academic degree (Masters) in marketing business or healthcare related field;
  • Experience in marketing and commercially-oriented senior leadership positions;
  • Experience in both medical devices and healthcare organizations;
  • Financial acumen with the ability to assimilate and disseminate (complex) information;
  • Analytical skills with the ability to compile and convey meaningful management reports and business cases;
  • Knowledge and experience of the BeNe (Belgium and Netherlands) health care market and regulations;
  • Experience in managing teams of up to 30 persons in multiple locations;
  • Experience in a matrix organisation;
  • Fluent Dutch and English in speaking and writing, French is desirable.
