Amazon Marketplace and Global Selling has been the engine of growth of Amazon for the past several years. We are looking for an intellectually curious, self-driven, innovative, highly motivated and ambitious professional to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our Marketplace business in Japan.
As a Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns, lead promotional activities and marketing communications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition, traffic, and sales growth.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities and excellence in team collaboration. You should have a results-driven approach with a hands-on mentality, a customer-centric mindset, and expert marketing communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the development of omni-channel marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention while supervising campaign planning and execution to ensure optimal customer experience.
- Design and execute data-driven marketing experiments to enhance customer experience, identifying and scaling successful initiatives through automation for maximum impact.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive annual marketing calendar, overseeing planning, campaign design, implementation, performance tracking, and review.
- Standardize promotional operations and enhance campaign efficiency through systematic quality control measures to optimize ROI.
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience with marketing strategies in online and mobile channels
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
