Marketing Manager, AGS, JP AGS, Marketplace Recruitment & Dev

Amazon Marketplace and Global Selling has been the engine of growth of Amazon for the past several years. We are looking for an intellectually curious, self-driven, innovative, highly motivated and ambitious professional to join our team and contribute to the expansion of our Marketplace business in Japan.
As a Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns, lead promotional activities and marketing communications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer acquisition, traffic, and sales growth.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical capabilities and excellence in team collaboration. You should have a results-driven approach with a hands-on mentality, a customer-centric mindset, and expert marketing communication skills.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead the development of omni-channel marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention while supervising campaign planning and execution to ensure optimal customer experience.
  2. Design and execute data-driven marketing experiments to enhance customer experience, identifying and scaling successful initiatives through automation for maximum impact.
  3. Develop and manage a comprehensive annual marketing calendar, overseeing planning, campaign design, implementation, performance tracking, and review.
  4. Standardize promotional operations and enhance campaign efficiency through systematic quality control measures to optimize ROI.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience with marketing strategies in online and mobile channels
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
