Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, client-focused Data Analyst with a strong analytical background and excellent client-facing communication skills. In this role, you will work closely with major film studios to deliver comprehensive data insights that inform strategic decision-making. While social media data will be a key focus, the ideal candidate will have the ability to integrate and analyse data from multiple sources to provide a holistic view of performance. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about analytics, thrives in a client-centric environment, and has a strong network within the entertainment industry.

The Role
  1. Client Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, consulting with them regularly to understand their business objectives, address queries, and deliver insights that align with their goals.
  2. Data Integration and Analysis: Collect, process, and analyse data from various sources, with a primary focus on social media data, while incorporating other relevant datasets to provide a comprehensive view of performance.
  3. Strategic Reporting: Develop and deliver advanced performance measurement frameworks, custom reporting templates, and data visualisations that translate complex data into actionable insights for clients.
  4. Client Network Utilisation: Leverage and expand your existing network within the entertainment industry to strengthen partnerships and help grow the business.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to prioritise tasks, streamline report delivery, and adapt to the fast-paced demands of the industry.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Experience in social media data analytics, preferably with an agency background and a focus on the entertainment industry.
  2. Proven track record of presenting, pitching, and building relationships with clients, ideally within the film or entertainment sector.
  3. Advanced knowledge of social media listening tools (e.g., Quid, Brandwatch, Meltwater) and third-party data integration via APIs.
  4. Expertise in developing KPI measurement frameworks for organic social media campaigns.
  5. Proficient in Excel for data analysis and advanced visualizations integrated into PowerPoint presentations.
  6. Strong ability to interpret social media data, create actionable insights, and align reporting with client strategies.
  7. Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, with a sharp focus on accuracy and detail.
  8. Comfortable switching between regular and ad hoc analytics projects, managing tight deadlines.
  9. An interest in movies and the film industry is highly desirable.
