The role
As a Media Development Team Leader, you'll manage the Media Development team within the Media Team and ensure the team undertakes activity in line with agreed priorities and processes.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Manage the media development team to ensure compliance and adherence to the relevant processes.
- Ensure the teams use best practice and deliver a range of outputs required for the programmes / contracts.
- Allocate work across the team to maximise output and utilisation (in conjunction with Head of Media).
- Engage with colleagues to offer advice on enhancing teaching and learning through effective and innovative exploitation of existing and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with course developers to ensure the application of DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training) when developing and selecting methods and media.
This role is full time and has a level of flexibility to work from home and onsite at our Lyneham site (minimum 3 days per week). Travel to other sites may also be required.
Essential experience:
- A strong, demonstrable portfolio of successful creative projects.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CC.
- A detailed understanding of rapid development e-learning tools (e.g. Articulate, Storyline, Captivate).
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification or demonstrable experience of working in a digital learning environment.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
