MNSI Deputy Clinical Director

Employer: Maternity and Newborn Safety Investigation (MNSI)
Location: Homebased - Flexible, United Kingdom
Salary: £Competitive

Contracted Hours: 0.4 WTE for internal candidates and 0.6 WTE for external candidates - 2 posts available
Contract Type: Secondment Opportunity for 23 months
Interview date: Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th March 2025 at our Stratford office

The Maternity and Newborn Safety Investigation (MNSI) programme, formerly the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) maternity programme, moved to be hosted by the CQC on the 1st October 2023.

The programme is part of the overall national maternity ambition to improve maternity safety and reduce harm by 50% by 2025.

What you will bring

MNSI is seeking two experienced clinicians, at senior consultant level or equivalent, to support and deputise as required for the MNSI Clinical Director.

The successful applicants will be experienced, knowledgeable and empathetic, being able to relate to staff at all levels as well as women, birthing people and their families.

It is essential that each deputy clinical director maintains their registration with their professional regulator and holds a senior consultant level or equivalent clinical position within an NHS perinatal service concurrently with this post.
