Are you a passionate and imaginative Motion Graphics Designer & Animator eager to bring stories to life? We're looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented designer to collaborate with our Tech team and Internal Creative Agency on a six-month project crafting engaging, instructional animated videos. Your creativity and expertise will shape visually compelling content that captivates and informs audiences both internally and externally.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
Partnering with the Tech team and Creative Agency to develop high-quality animated instructional videos that align with our brand's tone of voice.
Storyboarding concepts from scratch or enhancing existing ones to bring ideas to life with precision and artistry.
Crafting beautifully animated characters and motion graphics, ensuring seamless storytelling from concept to completion.
Incorporating motion design, typography, sound design, and video editing to create polished, engaging content.
Optimising files for various platforms and end-use scenarios while maintaining brand consistency.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, embracing feedback, and refining animations to achieve outstanding results.
Are we the perfect match?
We're looking for a Motion Graphics Designer & Animator with:
A proactive and self-motivated approach, comfortable working independently while welcoming collaboration and feedback.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects and Illustrator.
A deep appreciation for impactful motion graphics, animation, character animation, typography, storytelling, and sound design.
An understanding of file export optimisation for different digital platforms and knowledge of optimisation tools and HTML exports.
A strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, character animation, and text-based animation projects.
A collaborative spirit, able to work harmoniously with Tech and Creative teams while adapting to fast-paced deadlines.
It would be great if you had:
Experience using Google Workspace and Asana for project management.
An understanding of the role of copy, particularly within regulated industries.
Video editing and live footage skills to enhance visual storytelling.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in making creative decisions.
Awareness of design trends and an innovative mindset to push creative boundaries while adhering to brand guidelines.
A passion for teamwork and openness to exploring new technologies, software, and AI-driven efficiencies.

Location - London - E.ON Next, 47-53 Charterhouse Street, Farringdon, London, EC1M 6PB with travel to our other sites when required.
Working environment: Flexible hybrid working - a blend of in the office and home working.
