Role Description

As part of a global team, the MS Dynamics 365 Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform systems, alongside integrated applications. This position serves as the key link between business stakeholders, end users, learning and development (L&D), and external CRM suppliers.

The primary objective is to enhance system usage through best practices and optimize processes, driving efficiency and helping our teams achieve more. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a "can-do" attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to work with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders and end users to provide expert advice on effective system usage.
    • Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications aligned with best practices.
  • System Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to leverage the Dynamics 365 platform to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
    • Act as the lead for release management, overseeing enhancements, bug fixes, and updates from Microsoft and product owners.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Provide advanced support to end users and act as an escalation point for system-related issues.
    • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and engage with user groups to drive continuous improvement.
    • Deliver best-practice documentation and user stories to enhance knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external technology partners while safeguarding internal interests.
  • Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure systems align with internal policies and industry best practices.
    • Manage security and access controls across the application landscape.
  • Incident & Change Management:
    • Operate within the ITIL framework, handling incidents, problems, and change management processes.
    • Analyze system issues and trends, implementing corrective actions to enhance adoption and efficiency.
  • Project Collaboration:
    • Support global technology initiatives and contribute to cross-functional project deliverables.
    • Collaborate with internal technology teams to enhance system functionality and integration.

  • MS Dynamics 365 CE/CRM
  • MS SharePoint
  • MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • MS Office 365 Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, OneDrive)
  • MS Dynamics F&O (HR Module)

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a functional support role with MS Dynamics 365 CE/CRM.
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 architecture and associated technologies.
  • Proven experience in managing system releases and changes.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with Office 365 productivity tools (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience working within the ITIL framework (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex business requirements.
  • Experience engaging with external vendors and managing service delivery.
