Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled MSAT Scientist Cell & Biochemical Analytics to join their innovative Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team. This role focuses on advancing biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes through in-depth analytical expertise. The mission is to optimize and support small-scale biotechnological processes, ensuring excellence across global production sites. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize analytical methods to support biopharmaceutical production processes.
  • Execute small-scale laboratory experiments to simulate and improve biotechnological processes.
  • Develop and validate analytical assays for process monitoring and optimization.
  • Generate high-quality scientific protocols, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze data trends, perform statistical assessments, and conduct root cause investigations.
  • Present findings and recommendations to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support analytical troubleshooting and contribute to method transfer activities.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines (cGMP) and industry best practices.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • PhD or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Strong expertise in ELISA and qPCR, particularly in host cell impurity analysis.
  • Knowledge of protein characterization techniques (SDS-PAGE, Western blot, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in analytical method development, qualification, and validation.
  • Ability to critically analyze and interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience designing and executing DOE (Design of Experiments) studies.
  • Excellent problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong technical writing skills with experience in preparing scientific protocols and reports.
  • Familiarity with cGMP regulations and ability to translate requirements into effective action plans.


Languages:

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
