Multinational Oil & Gas Company - Corporate Surge Support (UK/EMEA)

We're working with a multinational oil & gas corporation who require ad-hoc support from senior corporate lawyers.

They're in a busy period of M&A, looking to push growth in their upstream business through M&A opportunities, divestments and exploration activity. This is stretching the in-house teams in the US and Europe, with unpredictable spikes in work.

They would therefore like to ideally build a bench of corporate lawyers that they can draw upon for support in the UK/Europe. The work will be allocated on a matter-by-matter basis and at the moment they can't commit to volumes or timeframes.

What will the role involve?

Ad-hoc, hourly structure M&A deal support (acquisitions and divestments) and support for the business around their exploration work.

What skills are required?

1. Senior M&A lawyer (minimum 8 PQE) with oil & gas experience in the UK/Europe.
2. Exploration experience would be great.
3. Someone who is willing to work flexibly, project-by-project.
