.NET C# Developer - East Hampshire/remote - £50,000 plus package

I am currently looking for a .NET Developer to join my client's dynamic IT team. In this role, you'll design, develop, implement, and maintain Back End applications using .NET Core with C# and integrate with various API frameworks (RESTful, SOAP). Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver robust, scalable solutions that support core business processes, ensuring they are well-documented and thoroughly tested.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain .NET Core applications using C#.
• Develop integrations with multiple APIs (RESTful, SOAP).
• Assist in designing and architecting new software solutions in collaboration with the wider IT team.
• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Revise, update, maintain, and debug existing code in .NET and SQL environments.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation exists for all new code, incorporating adequate testing and debugging.
• Conduct thorough testing of applications before deployment.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and provide updates on progress.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in .NET Core with C#.
• Familiarity with .NET framework and SQL.
• Proven ability to integrate with various API frameworks (RESTful, SOAP).
• Proficient in writing clean, maintainable code and thorough documentation.
• Comfortable revising and debugging existing code bases.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), testing methodologies, and version control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, capable of explaining technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptable under pressure, with the ability to prioritise tasks and organise your own workload effectively.
