.NET Developer (2-Year Fixed Term)
My client, the professional membership body for pharmacists in Great Britain, is seeking a driven Software Developer to join their technology team for a 2-year contract. They are dedicated to advancing the profession, supporting members in their practice, and promoting the role of pharmacists in improving public health. You will play a key role in the design, development, and support of their web applications and related systems, contributing to their mission of innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality code using C# and .NET Core.
- Build and enhance user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
- Design and implement database solutions using SQL.
- Participate in agile development processes, including Scrum, code reviews, and unit testing.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and implement continuous improvements.
Essential Skills:
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework (Angular, React, or Vue).
- Solid understanding of SQL and database design.
- Proven experience in agile development methodologies (Scrum).
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in conducting code reviews and implementing unit testing.
Working Environment:
- Hybrid working model, combining remote work with regular office presence in London (minimum 2 days per week).
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum.
