Network Security Administrator - 6 Month Contract - On-site (West London) - Inside IR35

Hamilton Barnes is partnered with a major UK airlines seeking an experienced Network Security L2 Administrator to support and maintain its enterprise network infrastructure. This is a customer-facing role requiring strong technical hands-on experience and communication skills to provide Level 2 support.

The 6 month contract falls inside IR35 and requires Full time onsite work (Monday to Friday) at a key West London office. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with enterprise networking technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and capability, identifying and resolving issues using various tools.
• Troubleshoot network incidents and problems, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Support Cisco WLAN Controllers, SSID configurations, and Access Points.
• Implement and troubleshoot Firewall security, VPNs, NAT policies, and software patching.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing & switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, VRF, MC-LAG, FHRP, DMVPN).
• Assist in maintaining LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN infrastructure.
• Administer DNS, IPAM, DHCP configurations for effective network management.
• Provide support for F5 LTM administration, SSL certificate renewals, and software updates.

What You Should Bring:

• Strong working knowledge of OSI layers 1-7, with proven troubleshooting skills across networking disciplines.
• Strong routing & Switching experience (Cisco/Juniper - OEM's)
• Hands-on experience with Firewall security implementation and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting routing & switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, NAT).
• Experience managing internal/external DNS, IPAM, and DHCP for IP management.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues in high-demand enterprise environments.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (Strong Extension Potential)
• Location: Full-time onsite (Monday to Friday) in West London
• Day Rate: £325 per day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
