Network Security Engineer (SC Cleared)

Hybrid Remote + Occasional Travel
£400-430/day (Inside IR35)

Network Security Engineer needed with active SC Security Clearance. 3 Month Rolling Contract. Start ASAP in February/March 2025.

Working mainly remotely from home (WFH), with occasional travel to client sites based in Wokingham, Corsham, Farnborough, and Warwick.

A chance to work with an established global IT and Digital transformation consultancy for an end client in the Telecoms domain.

• Technical support and ownership for customer Security Infrastructure estate, processes, and documentation.
• Acting as key technical point of contact for all Security and Firewall incidents, changes, modifications, projects, and rule bases.
• Supporting Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, F5, and Cisco networking solutions including switching families.
• Providing technical support, change management (remote/physical), and inventory management.
• Design of customer networks including support for High Level and Low Level designs (HLD/LLD).
• Technical Environment: Cisco IPT, QoS, Wireless 802.1x, Infoblox DNS, VPN, IPSec, SSL, DMVPN, WAN, routing protocols, hardware, software, EOL.
• Telecoms domain experience is advantageous.
