The European Correspondent is a non-profit European media organisation, launched in 2022. We bring Europe's most relevant stories to over 68,000 readers from all over the continent, to build a European public discourse and civil society. We have over 140 correspondents and organisers on board who build with us the future of European journalism.
As we look ahead, we're searching for someone who can help us take our partnership efforts to the next level - growing our revenue and building meaningful collaborations with stakeholders in Brussels and beyond.

Your responsibilities: You'll be responsible for driving new revenue by identifying and reaching out to potential partners - particularly in the EU affairs space and the wider European advertising market.
Whether it's a communications campaign or custom content production, you'll promote our services and craft tailored proposals that resonate with each prospect, pitch with purpose, and - most importantly - close deals. We're counting on you to bring in new business, and your existing network will be key to opening the right doors.

- Fluent oral and written English
Bonus points for
- Experience working with the business side of media, communication and campaigns for EU Institutions, NGOs, think tanks, or advocacy organisations in Europe
- A genuine interest in journalism, democracy, and Europe

- We offer the option of a day rate + commission mix, depending on your experience and availability

Why join us?
- Work with a fast-growing, mission-driven media organisation at the heart of Europe
- Flexible, remote-friendly work environment
- A collaborative, curious, passionated and kind team
- A generous commission structure
