NEXTEP IT - Avaloq Business Senior Consultant / Manager Core Technologies

We are looking for a motivated Consultant/Senior Consultant to join our (Client) Digital Banking Transformation Practice, specializing in the implementation and customization of leading digital banking solutions, including Avaloq. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in large-scale transformation projects for major financial institutions and global organizations, driving innovation and delivering tailored solutions.

As part of our Digital Banking Practice, you will work alongside a team of experts who provide strategic advice and cutting-edge solutions to clients worldwide, helping them optimize processes, enhance their operations, and stay ahead in the digital banking landscape.

Your key responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for clients, advisors, and other stakeholders
• Analyze and document clients' banking and business requirements, designing technical solutions tailored to their needs
• Translate business requirements into system specifications, ensuring seamless customization within the Avaloq platform
• Participate in the full transformation lifecycle of core banking systems, from initial analysis to implementation and optimization
• Identify opportunities for leveraging Avaloq's existing and new functionalities to enhance client operations
• Prepare tenders and proposals while building your reputation as a subject-matter expert in digital banking
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal methodologies and solutions

Your skills and experience

• Educational Background: Master's degree in Finance, IT, or Engineering
• Professional Experience: At least 3 years of experience in requirements engineering (e.g., gap analysis, deviations) and Avaloq module customization
• Certification: Avaloq ACCP Certification with Major in Core Technologies
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Avaloq parameterization and the overall Avaloq software development lifecycle. Familiarity with the GIM implementation method is an advantage
• Domain Expertise: Specialization in at least one business or technical domain is preferred
• Analytical Skills: Proficient in writing analysis documents and supporting test campaigns
• Banking Technology Enthusiast: Genuine interest in wealth management platforms and digital banking solutions, with a willingness to learn and become an expert in new technologies
• Networking Abilities: Leverage your professional network within the Avaloq ecosystem
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in French and/or German is a plus
• Work Style: Structured, reliable, and able to perform efficiently under pressure
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently in Luxembourg and abroad
