We are recruiting a 12 month NHS Fixed Term Locum Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist for a Teaching Trust in the Midlands. This is a salaried post, not an hourly rate agency locum.

Our client has confirmed their full support of CESR should you require it. Candidates should hold FRCR or equivalent qualification and ideally have previous thoracic interventional radiology and cardiac imaging experience in order to provide a comprehensive elective and emergency cardiothoracic service alongside consultant colleagues.

The on-call commitment for this post is currently a maximum frequency of 1:10 for body diagnostics, supported by junior staff and on-site radiology registrars.

There is a large lung cancer service, a regional interstitial lung disease unit, a cystic fibrosis unit, and an infectious disease unit, as well as a large critical care unit. There is cardiothoracic surgery on site.
