Nuclear Power Plant Safety Analysis Expert

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Strengthening Egyptian nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this action is to strengthen the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA).

Key expert: NPP Safety Analysis expert

️ Qualifications and skills:

• University degree (at least Master level or equivalent diploma) in natural science, engineering or other relevant discipline;
• Very good command of spoken and written English (minimum CEFR Level B2).

️ General professional experience:

• At least 10 years of experience working in the field of nuclear safety.

️ Specific professional experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in performing safety analyses for nuclear power plants using computer modelling;
• Experience in performing safety analyses for VVER-1200 reactors would be a strong asset;
• Experience with the EU Stress Test would be an asset.
