Operating Model Consultant
Posted 6 hours 57 minutes ago by ENGINEERINGUK
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Operational Model Specialist to join our team (in a 12-month FTC) and support a critical Business Transformation Programme. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy tackling large-scale transformation initiatives. In this key role, you will be responsible for analysing, designing, documenting, and delivering business requirements related to the separation of services and operations between ServCo and NetCo (a distinct national fixed network company).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in operating models, business process analysis, and separation/transformation programmes, with a focus on providing actionable insights to meet project deadlines. You will work closely with both technical and business stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination, developing detailed separation documentation, investor and shareholder insights, service level agreements, and other critical project deliverables to inform day 1 planning.
The must haves
In order to be considered, you must have the following experience:
- Experience leading and working as part of a senior leadership team on large-scale transformation programmes with tight deadlines.
- Proven track record of delivering business architecture and operating model design within separation projects, M&A, or divestiture environments in relatable capex-intensive and technical industries.
- Ability to analyse and connect complex people, processes, and systems elements to the success execution of business strategy, identifying improvement opportunities and risks - ideally honed from a background working in a consultancy setting.
- Experience with documenting service agreements, operating model handbooks, and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, i.e., experience of influencing and challenging leaders up to C-suite level.
The other stuff we are looking for
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in facilitating workshops and presenting findings - i.e., attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all deliverables.
- Excellent ability to structure and manage workstreams, ensuring deliverables are met on time.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the sensitivity of separation projects, ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Strong strategic thinking, with analytical/modelling and deductive reasoning skills.
