Operational Resilience Contractor Role £400 Day Rate

1st Executive are seeking a Procurement Manager on behalf of a global financial services client who look after retirement, investment and protection needs of individuals. Helping to build better futures for customers, our intermediaries and our employees by operating as a modern, agile and welcoming organisation.

The OR Contractor Role is a 3-month contract to support the delivery of our Operational Resilience regulatory program.

  1. The principal task will be to support the business in the categorisation, prioritisation and resolution of identified vulnerabilities within the IBS program.
  2. They will:
    1. Develop remediation action plans.
    2. Track and monitor the remediation process and provide MI reporting.
    3. Update IBS documentation, including status updates for the OR Self-Assessment document.
    4. Liaise and work with both the business and the Operational Resiliency teams to address any additional testing required as a result of the remediation actions.
  3. The role will also champion the cultural change to a more proactive approach to Operational Resilience.
  4. Will act as project managers for IBS vulnerability remediation and take accountability for delivery to timescales and objectives.
  5. They will support the Head of Operational Resilience as requested for the delivery of the Operational Resilience annual plan.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Extensive experience in an Operational Resilience role identifying IBS and vulnerabilities remediation.
  2. Good experience in facilitating meetings and workshops at operational and senior management level.
  3. Strong knowledge of UK regulatory requirements of PRA/FCA and in the production of formal policy/procedural type documentation.
  4. A sound understanding of business operating models within a financial services/insurance company.
  5. Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  6. Strong interpersonal skills.
  7. Good analysis skills.
  8. Advanced user of MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio.
  9. 2+ years of data analysis / Reporting.
  10. Previous Risk knowledge.
  11. Project management (Prince 2 or equivalent).
