The Operations Director leads cost management services from inception to completion for ongoing and new commissions. They are accountable for meeting client objectives through the delivery of value-added cost management services and drive strategy to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Required qualifications and experience:
  • Proven experience in delivering service excellence and project delivery.
  • Extensive experience in cost planning, budgeting, and estimating.
  • Expertise in costing, timescales, and contract types, including measurement methods.
  • Analytical skills and sector-specific knowledge.
  • Degree in quantity surveying or cost management, with professional MRICS/RICS membership or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of value engineering, life cycle costing, contract law, and contractual frameworks.
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience with large, diverse teams and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of sustainability, social value, and carbon reduction issues.
