As the Operations Inbound Coordinator, you will be responsible for short-term planning and purchasing activities, ensuring optimised customer service and inventory targets. JOB TITLE: Operations Inbound Coordinator

CONTRACT: Permanent
LOCATION: West End
SALARY: £27,000 - £30,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend, issue, and track purchase orders for components, filling & finished goods
- Maintain full visibility of purchase orders and track through to delivery
- Own supplier relationships, acting as the point of contact and conducting weekly open orders calls
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations on components at supplier locations
- Analyse and report on excess, obsolete, and discontinued items
- Collaborate with Logistics to ensure timely inbound delivery of purchase orders
- Develop logistics requirements with suppliers
- Coordinate with Demand Planning and warehouse management team to ensure proper stock allocation
- Drive lead-time improvement and agility projects
- Create and revise part numbers and bills of materials as needed
- Generate reports and tools for visibility on inventory locations
- Assist in price reviews and negotiations
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Communicate and escalate risks to cross-functional teams
- Prepare reports for Senior Management
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in FMCG Outbound Operations management
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analysis abilities
- Thrives under pressure and welcomes challenges
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Resilient and self-motivated
- Previous experience in the retail sector is a must, with Beauty industry experience preferred
- Additional European language skills preferred
- Experience managing Sephora beneficial
