Job summary
I've partnered with a leading centre for oculoplastic surgery to help them recruit an Operations Manager to lead on team management, financial and strategic planning, technology and systems management, and patient experience.

Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic, ensuring all processes are efficient and patient-centric.
- Manage staff schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth operations.
- Line manage administrative staff and ensure good performance.
- Coordinate with the administrative team to optimise workflows.
- Manage budgets, oversee invoicing, and track financial performance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service.
- Oversee clinic management systems, including patient record systems (e.g., Zoho - CRM software).
- Implement new IT systems.
- Lead web marketing development.
- Lead and motivate a team, ensuring professional growth and development.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, 1:1s, and training sessions.
- Focus on practice refinement.
- Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by optimising appointment systems, communication, and follow-ups.
- Act as a point of contact for escalated patient concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with senior management to develop and execute long-term operational strategies.
- Identify opportunities for clinic growth, including new services, partnerships, or technologies.
Skills and experience required
- Proven experience in managing operations within a healthcare setting, preferably in a high-profile clinic or hospital.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, including budgeting and performance tracking.
- Experience with overseeing and implementing IT systems and managing CRM software.
- Track record of leading and developing a team, conducting training sessions, and improving staff efficiency.
- Experience in enhancing patient experience, optimising appointment systems, and managing patient communications.
