Job Title - Ophthalmologist

Location - Exeter

Salary - Up to £120,000 DoE

ACES is an independent provider of NHS eye care outpatient and surgical services that are delivered in the community. Working with state-of-the-art technologies, we support the NHS, providing patients with the highest standards of clinical care. We provide a range of services including Cataract, YAG and SLT Laser Treatment, Glaucoma, Oculoplastics, Vitreoretinal, and General Ophthalmology.

Due to expansion, ACES has exciting new opportunities for Ophthalmologists to join our amazing and supportive team in our Exeter clinic. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and developing business and benefit from our fantastic fully funded training and development programs.

You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team working alongside a range of sub-specialists, providing timely care to patients. Roles include carrying out virtual and general outpatient, pre-operative and post-operative glaucoma consultations, assessing the suitability of glaucoma patients for treatment, and managing patients according to group clinical directives and national policies.

Consultant Ophthalmologists with experience of MIGS and performing a range of procedures open to glaucoma patients are sought.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a consultant ophthalmologist.
• Be articulate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be confident and organised.
• Be happy to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
