Established in 2007 by Jim and Janice Purcell, the practice has grown over the past two decades to cater for the optical needs of the population of Castle Douglas and surrounding areas. Due to the continued expansion of our business, we are recruiting for a pre-reg optometrist to join the resident optometrists/DO's with the very best of clinical equipment and optical frames.

At Purcells, our vision is to be Scotland's leading independent Eyecare Specialists. As part of the Urquhart's group, we have a small management team who are in place to help our 3 optometrists service our patients in the local area. We have a clinical focus offering OCT, Topography and participating in many shared care schemes that are available in Dumfries and Galloway. You will be part of a team of Optometrists and supported by a business function that allows you to focus on what you want to do most - care for patients. You can also expect to be supported with your professional development (Management/IP, etc.), to have a platform to voice opinions and for those to be implemented as part of our business improvement, and it will be an environment where you are valued and you're not just a number.

This pre-reg role will bring future opportunities within the business as we continue to grow further. Max: GBP £55,000.00
