Location: Hybrid 60% office - 40% remote - HSBC Sheffield
Duration: 30/11/2025
Rate: £388/day Inside Ir35
MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA

Role Description:
"Oracle Database Engineer
Must have experience:
Experience in Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Proficiency in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
Hands-on experience with Oracle performance tuning and optimization.
Knowledge of Oracle backup and recovery solutions, with a solid RMAN foundation
Experience with Oracle database migration and upgrade projects.
Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.
Understanding of Oracle licensing and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have experience working in a finance background with adherence to strong change management practices

Detailed JD:
Should have 8-10 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
Good experience in design, planning, and implementation of Oracle database solutions at Enterprise scale.
Understanding of functional requirements and translation of business requirements into technical specifications.
Good understanding of Data center architecture and Automation technologies.
Working Experience in handling and troubleshooting Oracle databases.
Experience in implementing Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
Experience in working on Oracle database migration and upgrade projects.
Working Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.
Demonstrate analytical and problem management skills.
