Job Opportunity: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) Brussels (Hybrid)

Your Role:
As an Oracle DBA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the performance, availability, and security of the company's database systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing, monitoring, and maintaining Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Implementing and fine-tuning database backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Performing database installations, upgrades, and patch management.
• Collaborating with development teams to optimize database structures and queries.
• Troubleshooting and resolving database issues, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Automating routine database tasks using scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).
• Conducting performance tuning and capacity planning to support business needs.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA in complex environments.
• Expertise in Oracle Database versions 12c or later, including RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, backup/recovery tools, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and scripting for automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is an asset.
