Job Description

Creating original and innovative luxury soft toys, Jellycat combines luxurious fabrics with quirky and cute designs and sells its products online and via stockists throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

The Order Management Specialist will be responsible for validating all information required to accurately fulfill customer orders. This role will be the bridge between the sales, operations, and 3PL teams.

You'll be:

  1. Proactively communicating order delays or issues to internal teams using established templates and best practices.
  2. Managing inventory constraints by setting up and enforcing rules to get order lines cancelled or adjusted, as needed.
  3. Reviewing hide reasons and communicating them to the relevant teams.
  4. Creating and maintaining reference documents to inform the Sales team of any operational issues.
  5. Analysing orders in the system.
  6. Liaising with the relevant teams to ensure orders are correctly in the system.
  7. Conducting order system clean-ups.
  8. Leading backlog and operational reviews with sales, manufacturing, logistics, production, and QC teams.
  9. Working cross-functionally to monitor order fulfilment accuracy.
  10. Liaising with relevant internal teams and 3PL to provide a breakdown of units being waived per day/week for future orders.
  11. Liaising with relevant internal teams ahead of new launch seasons and completing analysis after the launch.
  12. Reviewing orders vs. invoiced to ensure monthly budgets are met.
  13. Providing reporting data to the business.
  14. Setting up order KPIs and monitoring them on a daily basis.
  15. Issuing KPIs to relevant stakeholders.

You'll have:

  1. Relevant experience with purchase order management and allocations.
  2. Experience with sales and operations planning.
  3. Business analyst experience with ERP systems.
  4. A retail/wholesale background.
  5. Order management/order inputting knowledge.
  6. A contribution-focused mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  7. Experience with reporting and KPI creation.
  8. The ability to communicate effectively with a range of business stakeholders.
  9. Knowledge in Excel and PowerBI.
