Payroll Associate

Payroll Associate - Permanent - London - Hybrid - up to £50,000 per annum

Oakleaf Partnership are delighted to be partnered with a global financial services firm, who are looking to recruit a Payroll Associate, on a permanent basis. As a Payroll Associate, will be responsible for the analysis, execution the UK payroll operations and will be based in London, on a hybrid basis.

The Payroll Associate will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

• Collate the monthly payroll data and provide to the payroll vendor
• Review and reconcile, work with the payroll vendor to correct as necessary and provide the appropriate reports
• Ensure that all the relevant deadlines are met and that the payments are reconciled and made on time
• Assist with the post payroll administration i.e. raising third party payments, distributing P45's, preparing Payment After Leaving letters etc
• Responsible for the processing of team invoices
• Prepare month end journals
• Shared responsibility for maintaining the team mailbox and answering queries

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years UK payroll exposure, preferably from a financial services background
• Experience in a fast paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of excel
• Analytically driven and responsible for creating innovative solutions to support the business
