The Opportunity:
Our People Operations team is looking for a Munich, Germany based People Operations Partner to join its dynamic team on a parental leave replacement contract. This role will support the German entity and assist with global operations, with a focus on shaping operational and administrative HR processes. As the company grows, this role will also help streamline HR processes and support automation initiatives.
This role offers a hybrid work environment with three days a week in our local office.
This position is a fixed-term one year contract, with potential for extension based on business needs.
Your Mission:
- Be the primary HR contact for employees based in Germany
- Prepare payroll for the German entity and collaborate with external payroll providers
- Manage relationships with benefit providers
- Assist in optimizing and automating HR processes to increase efficiency as the company scales
- Ensure HR policies and processes stay compliant with local regulations and evolve with business needs
- Handle employee administration, including contracts, onboarding, and offboarding, ensuring smooth and compliant processes
- Support the People Operations team with various HR initiatives and projects across the organization
What you need to succeed:
- Knowledge of German labor and social security laws
- Experience in assisting with payroll preparation in Germany
- Understanding of People Analytics or the ability to work with numbers
- Strong focus on providing great service to employees
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written
