Job Description
Our Client is a leading business working within the energy industry offering a range of services and products to meet international skills and development. The company currently requires a talented People Partner. The role is a fixed term contract position, based in Aberdeen.
Specific Skills- The role will require a willingness to undergo continual personal development including the achievement of additional qualifications and professional competencies as required.
- Some or all of the following may be required:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates integrity, adaptability and the ability to collaborate well with others
- Generalist experience in all areas of Human Resource Management
- Knowledge and experience of managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Relevant CIPD recognised qualification or equivalent experience.
- Build relationships with Managers, gain an in-depth understanding of the business and sector to be able to effectively support the business from a HR perspective.
- Be the subject matter expert in employee relations matters, including: grievance and disciplinary matters, absence management, retention & performance management, effectively managing risk to the business.
- Support Managers and the wider business, including the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme, with all aspects of staff resourcing, staff development and management.
- Instil a Skills Development and Performance Management culture using the appropriate tools available and work with Managers on the management of performance of their teams.
- Provide a high level of HR business support to the company.
- Responsible for all people related issues acting as the lead point of for HR support and advice.
- Coach and support Managers to be able to resolve problems and resolve any matters relating to people management.
- Develop a thorough understanding of workforce requirements to assist managers with the planning and deployment of employees.
- Identify skills gaps and development needs in managers and deliver business-focused solutions to develop capability.
- Provide managers with advice and guidance through all HR cases and oversee to an outcome in a timely manner, providing solutions and escalating complex or sensitive issues to the Head of People.
- Lead on ad hoc People projects.
- Provide the Head of People with KPI Reports including; monthly absence, turnover and employee relations case data.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
- Comply with Client Company's Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policies and Safety Management Systems.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example to ensure company goals are achieved and exceeded.
- Adherence to waste regulation standards for confidential waste/recycling.
