Brief Description

We are currently looking for a Performance Assistant to join the NR Sussex and GTR Joint Performance Team.
In this role, you will be a key player in supporting the NR Sussex and GTR Joint Performance Team in the collation and delivery of key activities, including performance improvement reporting, the incident learning review process (including collating the content for Significant Customer Impacting Incident Reviews), and Performance Improvement Management Systems (PIMS).
About the role (External) Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the incident learning review process, ensuring key learnings are captured for significant performance impacting incidents, including engaging with teams and creating Significant Customer Impacting Incident Review (SCIIR) packs.
- Contributing to key joint performance team reporting, particularly relating to performance improvement activity.
- Playing a key role in engagement activity, including supporting the delivery of Performance Communication plans, and assisting in the implementation of PIMS methodologies across Network Rail's Sussex route and GTR.
- Provide support where available to Performance Improvement Coordinators and Analysis in driving performance improvement workstreams across all contributing business areas.
What We're Looking For:
- A proactive, organized individual with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyse and report on performance data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Experience in supporting improvement initiatives or performance management in a dynamic environment (preferably in rail or transport sectors, but not essential).
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
