About The Firm:

My client is a highly respected law firm with a national reputation in personal injury litigation. They offer varied and challenging caseloads, frequently including high-profile cases. Due to continued success, my client is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigator to join their specialist team.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will handle a mixed caseload of personal injury matters, primarily focused on Fast Track work with opportunities to manage Intermediate Track and some Multi Track cases. Experience in Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and Road Traffic Accident (RTA) cases is required. The role demands strong litigation and communication skills, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a diverse caseload of EL, PL, and some RTA cases, primarily Fast Track work with the potential to handle Intermediate Track and Multi Track cases.
  2. Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently.
  3. Use MOJ portals and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
  4. Effectively use a case management system to prioritise a high-volume caseload.
  5. Provide excellent client care, keeping clients informed and supported throughout their cases.
  6. Work both independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Proven experience as a Personal Injury Litigator, with a strong track record in personal injury litigation.
  2. Experience handling Fast Track cases, with the ability to progress to Intermediate and Multi Track work.
  3. Strong knowledge of MOJ portals and civil procedure rules.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  5. Ability to manage and prioritise a high caseload using a case management system.
  6. A team player, committed to delivering outstanding client service.

Desirable:

  1. Experience with Intermediate and Multi Track cases.
  2. Knowledge of emerging developments in personal injury law.
