Claims/Policy Design Lead (Guidewire)

Company: Major Insurance company

Location: Hybrid working with two days a week from the Birmingham office (with travel allowance contribution)

Salary: Up to £110,000 plus bonus up to 20%, 10% pension, life assurance, private health care and more

A leading insurer is looking for an experienced Technical Lead/Solution Design with exposure to claims technology/systems. The Architect will be responsible for:

1. Designing the software architecture for the claims, policy domain
2. Managing technology and development teams to implement best practice
3. Supporting with roadmaps
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams
5. Designing secure and robust systems
6. Driving innovation and operational efficiency
7. Working in partnership with vendors/third parties

To be considered suitable for the Architect role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

1. Strong experience in domain architecture within the insurance sector
2. Good understanding of insurance claims/policy admin processes and technology
3. Experience with systems architecture, design patterns and development methodologies
4. Knowledge of Guidewire
5. Understanding of data security and compliance
6. Experience of managing third-party suppliers
