The Opportunity

We're looking for a Portfolio Manager to join us in managing our largest separate account client portfolio. Working closely with our Chief Investment Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing investment strategies across a diverse portfolio spanning industrial, retail, hotels, offices, and high street retail assets. This is an opportunity to make real impact. You will be leading investment decisions with a strong focus on both absolute returns and income generation, while driving our commitment to sustainability and Net Zero goals.

How you will be Building With Us

1. Investment management of a significant UK commercial property portfolio, focusing on meeting specific investment and sustainability objectives.
2. Source and execute compelling investment opportunities aligned with our portfolio strategy.
3. Lead and mentor a team of Investment Managers while collaborating with our senior leadership and specialists.
4. Create and implement detailed Asset Plans that drive portfolio performance.
5. Develop comprehensive Client Reports, including annual Portfolio Business Plans and quarterly Investment Management Reports.
6. Work closely with our Head of ESG to advance our Net Zero Plan and sustainability initiatives.
7. Engage with and oversee third party service providers, ensuring excellence in all aspects of portfolio management.
8. Contribute to KFIM's wider success through active participation in industry working groups and attendance at our Investment Committee.

What you will bring

1. 8+ years' experience managing UK commercial property portfolios for institutional investors.
2. Proven expertise in investment strategy, transactions, and asset management.
3. RICS qualification and relevant degree.
4. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
5. Analytical mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail.
6. Collaborative approach with experience in mentoring junior team members.
7. Genuine passion for real estate investment and its potential for positive environmental and societal impact.
